MATTY MATLOCK & THE RAMPART STREET PARADERS – JACK TEAGARDEN SEXTETTE
Calliope CAL 3029 continued the release of tracks that had been released on previous Calliope LPs. All of the Jack Teagarden Sextette tracks on side two of CAL 3029 had been released on side one CAL 3004, although the track order was changed.
The source of the Rampart Street Paraders with Matty Matlock was the sixth program in the new TV series, Stars of Jazz. Jack Teagarden and his brother Charlie also appeared on that show along with a guest appearance by Paul Whiteman.
Norm Abbott, Pete Robinson, Paul Whiteman, Jimmie Baker, Bobby Troup and Jack Teagarden
